4 Skincare tips for running in winter

Getting out for a run during winter is more than dealing with cold hands and face, it can play havoc with your skin. The cold harsh winter winds and dry air can really irritate and suck the moisture out of your skin.

It is therefore important to look after your skin before and after your run to keep your skin healthy and supple.

Sun screen

If you are running outside it is a good idea to slap on a bit of SPF before venturing out. It maybe winter but there is still UV rays around.  Make sure you apply it to any exposed skin.

Moisturize

Getting out in the wind and rain can really dry out your skin. Apply a good quality moisture to ensure your skin gets looked after.
